APM receives Cisco Innovation Award

February 11, 2010

To Cisco, Application Performance Management (APM) makes T-Systems the first provider to develop a managed service to optimize applications in global enterprise networks.
In the Cisco Innovation Awards, the APM solution took the prize in the category of “Most Innovative Service Offering”. The network specialist and co-organizer of the awards IDG Global Solutions affirms that the solution has excellent market potential.
Companies with global operations can use APM to enhance the performance of their worldwide corporate networks and applications used across multiple locations up to 50-fold. The solution ensures the quality of data transmission and monitors the corporate network’s performance, thereby preventing unnecessary duplicate transmissions, for instance. Plus, its end-to-end monitoring function makes detecting and resolving errors in wide area networks (WANs) easier and faster. That means APM is able to accelerate the IT-supported business processes used by international companies.
Best Service Offering
Cisco grants its Innovation Awards annually at the Cisco Live conference held in Barcelona. The organizers give the awards in recognition of companies that bring out new technologies while at the same time achieving tangible results. There are seven categories of Innovation Awards. In the Service Offering section, APM ranked the best out of more than ten solutions.
